Fun & Diversion
| Variety feels that your cafeteria should be a place to come to not only to eat great food and interact with friends, but also it should be a place to come to relieve the monotony of the workday and have some fun. We have a strong focus on creating an atmosphere of fun and diversion in our dining services that takes you away from the daily routine. We’ve even been known to bring in a Magician toentertain while our guests are dining! To keep things fun, Variety focuses on the following: |

| Contests – Raffles, Birthday Celebrations, Pumpkin Carving Contests, Recipe Contests Involving cooking employee recommended recipes, Jellybean Count, Fresh Turkey Giveaways, Imported fruit and Cheese Giveaway, and many more. |

| Food Specialties – Demo Cooking, Cooking Classes, Taste Testing, Guest Chefs, Fruit Market, Current Trends, All-You-Can-Eat Buffets, Build-Your-Own-Ice Cream-Bar, and much more. |

Entertainment Events/Promotion
| Super Bowl Party- on the Friday before the “Big Game”, we decorate the cafeteria in the colors, pennants, and city identifiers of the two participating football teams |

| Mardi Gras- On Fat Tuesday, we begin by featuring Hamtramk’s best Paczkis to start your day off. |

| Magic Day—We’ve had a lot of fun with this event. We typically bring in a professional magician and let him/her do their thing |

| Golf Warm Up Day—We usually schedule this event in later April or May when the weather is beginning to warm up and people’s thoughts are turning to golf and outdoor activities. |

| 50’s- 60’s Party—With the music of the 50’s and 60’s emanating from a rented jukebox, we transform the cafeteria into a typical diner from that era |

| Dog Days of Summer Hot Dog Bar—Baseball, apple pie, and hot dogs—it’s what America is all about |

| Detroit Lions Home Opener—With September comes the return to school, the temperatures and the leaves begin to fall and the Lions begin their quest for the Super Bowl |

| Exotic Foods Tasting—We all tend to fall into ruts in our lives, especially in what we eat, but not anymore. |

| Pumpkin Carving Contest—Along with all the decorations to transform the cafeteria into a haunted house, we get a little friendly competition going between departments or employees by sponsoring a Pumpkin Carving Contest |

| Customer Appreciation Week—We typically have this event in December to close out the year with our opportunity to say “Thanks” to all of our customers who we have served throughout the year |

Variety FoodServices can implement any or all of these programs on a daily or permanent basis into your food service operation. Variety has the ability to coordinate with a Design Consultant on any permanent theme that your company may desire, for example, a Rainforest or Planet Hollywood-like concept. Variety will also help coordinate any and or all of these plans on a yearly basis, based on your company’s needs. |
