Preparing For Variety FoodServices' 16th Annual Holiday Food Baskets

Since 2007, Variety FoodServices has been collecting and building Holiday food/necessity baskets for local families in Genesee, Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Macomb County.

Each year Variety FoodServices works with local area school districts to identify local families in need. Once the families are selected, Variety partners with suppliers for donations of food items such as turkeys, hams, potatoes, stuffing, milk, canned fruits/vegetables, cereals and other dry goods, as well as needed personal items such as toiletries and clothing.

Our aim is to have baskets delivered to each school site in early December (prior to schools holiday break). We welcome you the opportunity to get involved and help us reach our goals once again this year, any and all donations are appreciated.

Our business is built on providing excellent customer service & offering a variety of food service options within Southeast Michigan. Being in business for the last ninety-five years, we believe there’s no better way to show our appreciation & dedication to our local community.

“We’re in the food business, there’s people who need food. There’s a ton of need there, particularly in our schools and neighborhoods.” says John Nowak, CEO of Variety FoodServices. “It’s just one of the things that we can do to help and that’s why we do it.”
